Ten Hag praises ‘perfect’ Hannibal job

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag believes that Hannibal Mejbri completed a ‘perfect’ job during his side’s 1-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Dutchman handed Hannibal’s first start of the 2023/24 Premier League season, where he opted to field the Tunisian international an attacking midfield role against Vincent Kompany’s side.

Speaking after the match, Ten Hag mentioned that the African star stood out for doing a perfect job amid an injury crisis at the club.

“Of course it’s a concern,” Ten Hag said of his side’s injury woes, according to TNT Sports.

“You have so many injuries, you have a problem in the routine of your game. You bring players in, they are new – like Reguilon, like Hojlund and you can’t bring them in slowly in the routines of your team.

“They are not used to playing together, like Hannibal who did a perfect job.”
