Mohamed Salah’s legal advisor, Rami Abbas, recently revealed key details regarding his latest contract at the club.
The Egyptian has been one of the most talked about Premier League footballers in the last couple of months, after being linked with a sensational move away from the club.
Despite signing a bumper new deal at Anfield last season, Salah was said to be on the radar of Saudi Pro League outfit, Al-Ettifaq.
Nevertheless, Abbas suggested that Salah was considering leaving Liverpool before signing a contract extension and at the same time, revealed the 31-year-old’s contracted image rights numbers.
“When you have put your requests on the table and you don’t get anything you’ve asked for, you have to start thinking about parting ways,” Abbas told a Harvard Business School (HBS) study, as per GOAL.
“We conservatively expect the total amount received by Mohamed [Salah] and the image rights companies over the next few years from both his playing contract and his image rights contracts to be somewhere between €54m [£46.8m] and €62m [£53.7m] per year.”
