SSC Napoli manager Rudi Garcia has indicated that the injured Victor Osimhen will return to action on November 25.
The Little Donkeys will be away to Atalanta BC on that particular day in a Serie A encounter at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.
This means Osimhen will miss Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho on November 16 and Zimbabwe on November 19.
“I’m not concerned with this, the medical department has made plans,” Garcia told Sky Sport according to Calcio Napoli.
“It seems obvious to me that after these two matches between the Champions League and Empoli, then there is a break. In my opinion, he will be ready for Atalanta.”
Osimhen is Nigeria’s most influential player having scored 20 goals from 28 international matches.
