The Soweto Derby encounter is set to headline matchday 12 of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership this weekend.
Kaizer Chiefs will play host to Orlando Pirates at the iconic FNB Stadium on Saturday as the two teams look to build on their midweek victories over Cape Town Spurs and Sekhukhune United respectively.
SuperSport will climb to the top of the league standings if they secure a win over Sekhukhune United at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday, but Babina Noko will not be pushovers as they are desperate to snap a five-match winless run.
There will be a KwaZulu-Natal Derby clash on the same day with Lamontville Golden Arrows hoping to avenge their recent 3-0 loss to AmaZulu FC when the two teams meet at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale.
While two teams that are currently in the relegation zone are scheduled to meet at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium where Richards Bay will be targeting nothing but a win over Cape Town Spurs.
The action will start on Friday with Cape Town City – who are on a four-match winning run – playing host to a revitalized Royal AM side at the world-class DHL Cape Town Stadium.
