As the biggest winners on Friday, Ivory Coast secured a mammoth 9-0 win over Seychelles in the latest round of African 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
In kicking off a jam-packed list of fixtures on Friday, Libya recorded a 1-0 win over a spirited Eswatini outfit at the Mbombela Stadium on Friday afternoon. Also, Cameroon managed to bag a comfortable 3-0 home win over Mauritius at the Japoma Stadium, as the Indomitable Lions and Libya lead the charge in Group D.
Elsewhere, Ghana left it late following their 1-0 win over Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, as Inaki Williams managed to score a 95th minute winner following a largely frustrating outing for the Black Stars.
In the biggest win of the week so far, Ivory Coast managed to record a 9-0 victory over minnows Seychelles at Olympic Stadium of Ebimpe. The likes of Sebastian Hallerm, Karim Konate and Hamed Traore ran riot for the hosts of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Then in Group H, Tunisia put four goals past Sao Tome at Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi on Friday night as the North African outfit lead the way in Group H.
