United ‘doubt’ over Amrabat signing

Despite coming in as a much-needed signing for Manchester United, it’s been reported that the Red Devils have been unconvinced by Sofyan Amrabat’s performances this season.

With Erik Ten Hag looking to solidify his midfield department, United turned to the Moroccan international ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

The African star’s showings at the 2022 FIFA World Cup put numerous clubs around Europe on high alert, however, Amrabat eventually settled for a transfer to the Manchester-based giants.

Following a slow start to life in England, the Guardian claims that United have raised doubts over Amrabat’s transfer and could look to find a replacement in the January transfer window.

The same report mentions that the Red Devils have identified four signings in the upcoming window and could look to offload Amrabat to make way for a new midfielder.

Amrabat has started just four league games for United this season since his loan move on deadline day from Fiorentina.
