Pele: ‘Ghana will win AFCON’

Ghana legend Abedi Pele believes that the Black Stars have what it takes to go all the way in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament next year.
With the showpiece set to take place in Ivory Coast, Ghana have been pitted alongside Egypt, Mozambique and Cape Verde in Group B.
Ghana are four-time winners of the competition, with their most recent win being in 1982. Pele, who was part of the Black Stars’ 1982 AFCON winning squad, has claimed that his nation will eventually win the tournament in the next four years.
“We will win,” Pele told Vision 1 FM, as per Ghanaweb.
“There will be our chances. We’ve been to finals three times, and I think our chance will be maybe this time.
“Or in the next four years we will be there.”
