Diallo holds crucial meeting with Ten Hag

It’s been reported that Manchester United winger Amad Diallo underwent crunch talks with Erik Ten Hag regarding his immediate future at Carrington.

The Ivorian is yet to gain the approval of Ten Hag this season after returning to the club following his impressive loan spell with Sunderland during the 2023/24 campaign.

Currently behind the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Antony in the right-wing position, Diallo was linked with yet another loan spell with the Black Cats for the remainder of the current season.

With no move materializing, Football Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Ten Hag trusts Diallo will do well at the club in the coming months.

“Amad Diallo had positive conversation with Erik ten Hag in January,” Romano reported on X.

“It was crucial to prepare Amad’s future involvement in Man United squad.

“Club and manager want to trust Diallo and that’s why loan to Championship was never considered realistic option in January.”
