Former Manchester United star Alan Smith is of the thought that West Ham United won’t be selling players to Arsenal following the Declan Rice transfer.
Arsenal and West Ham agreed a £100 million fee for Rice at the beginning of the 2023/24 campaign, as the midfielder became the Gunners’ most expensive player in their history.
Since then, Arsenal have been linked with Kudus with the West Ham attacker swiftly becoming a wanted man among top clubs in the Premier League. According to Smith, the Hammers might refuse to do business with Arsenal in the near future, given the prolonged negotiations for Rice at the start of the season.
“The Rice move was always going to happen,” Smith told Newbettingsite.co.uk, as per Ghana Soccernet
“I think West Ham have actually invested well off the back of it with the likes of Edson Alvarez and Kudus coming in.
“I don’t think West Ham will be wanting to sell him to Arsenal anytime soon, especially not after the Declan Rice move!”
