After Mohamed Salah returned to club football recently, a new injury report has emerged ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League tie against Luton Town on Wednesday night.
The 31-year-old suffered a hamstring injury during Egypt’s opening 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tie against Ghana on the 18th of January and marked his return to action with a goal in the Red’s 4-1 win against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium this past Saturday.
Now though, according to football journalist Ahmed Shoubir, Salah sustained another hamstring injury which could rule him out of the Red’s upcoming tie against Luton Town.
“I learned that Mohamed Salah’s injury, which he suffered with the Egyptian national team, was renewed at the end of the Liverpool-Brentford match,” Shoubir reported on X.
“He will not be able to play the next match against Luton Town”.
