Danish-Palestinian star Wessam Abou Ali has reacted to his debut in the CAF Champions League on Friday.
The 25-year-old forward came on for Al Ahly in the 67th minute as the Egyptian giants claimed a 2-1 victory over Ghanaian champions Medeama SC.
A former Denmark international, Abou Ali joined Al Ahly from Swedish Allsvenskan club IK Sirius in January 2024 and he made his official debut for the club against Medeama.

The match between Medeama and Al Ahly was played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana.
“I am happy that I quickly agreed with Al Ahly despite the difference in weather conditions between Europe and now in Africa,” he continued.
“But I have been in a state of focus since I joined because I know the value of the club I play for and the necessity of quickly entering the atmosphere to provide all my level of service to the team.”
