According to reports in the media, Manchester United could look to offload another African midfielder at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

While it has been reported that the Red Devils will opt against signing midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on a permanent basis, it’s now been said that Hannibal Mejbri’s time at Carrington could come to an end in the coming months.

The Tunisian struggled to break into Erik Ten Hag’s midfield department in the last couple of seasons and was subsequently shipped out on loan to LaLiga outfit Sevilla during the January transfer window with the hope of accumulating regular game time.

After making the move to Spain, reports in the media indicated that Sevilla have been left unimpressed by the energetic midfielder and that the club will decide against signing Mejbri on a permanent basis.

Now though, according to Football Insider, United are ‘ready to part ways’ with the Tunisian international after he returns from his loan spell.

Mejbri is yet to play a full game for Sevilla this season and has only managed to amass 37 minutes of game time across three appearances in six weeks.
