The draw for the 2023/24 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup quarter-finals took place on Tuesday afternoon.


Reigning African and Egyptian champions Al Ahly have been pitted against Tanzanian giants Simba SC in the Champions League.


Simba’s local rivals, Young African will take on South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns who were crowned African champions in 2016.


The first-leg matches will take place between 29–30 March 2024 while the second-leg games are scheduled for 5–6 April 2024.


In the Confederation Cup, Egyptian giants Zamalek will tussle it out with their local rivals Modern Future.


While two-time Confederation Cup winners RS Berkane of Morocco will lock horns with Libya’s Abu Salem.


The first-leg matches will take place on 31 March 2024 while the second-leg games are scheduled for 7 April 2024.
