Liverpool FC-linked manager Arne Slot has commented on Liverpool FC and their star player Mohamed Salah.
The Reds secured a 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s English Premier League encounter at the Anfield Stadium.
Slot, who has been tipped to replace Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager ahead of the 2024/25 season, is currently in charge of Dutch giants Feyenoord.
The Dutchman divulged he watched the start of Liverpool’s clash with Spurs and saw Egypt captain Salah score a “great” first goal.
‘”I saw a few minutes of the game but we had to come to the stadium,” Slot said on
Mirror.
“Just the first goal, a great goal. It was a good win from Liverpool. If the official confirmation is there, and I go there, I will watch a lot of games from them.
“Sometimes in life, opportunities come along and you have to listen. “I have made that choice for myself. In the next days and weeks, you will see the announcement,” the former AZ Alkmaar manager added.
“Last year I made the choice to stay [turning down interest from Tottenham] and now, I probably made another choice.”
It remains to be seen if Salah stays put at Liverpool for the 2024/25 season as he has been linked with a move away from the club.
