2026 WCQ: Grant names Cagliari player in Zambia squad

Zambia head coach Avram Grant has named his squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Chipolopolo will lock horns with the Atlas Lions of Morocco in Agadir on June 7 before hosting Tanzania’s Taifa Stars four days later at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Grant has named a 27-man provisional squad which includes Cagliari FC striker Kingstone Mutandwa who has received his first senior team call-up.

Kabwe Warriors defender Kabaso Chongo and Kings Kangwa of Kortrijk have been recalled to the Chipolopolo squad after missing March’s Four Nations Tournament.
