Al Ahly will battle it out with Esperance de Tunis in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League final on Saturday, 25 May.

Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT.

The second-leg game is scheduled to take place at the Cairo International Stadium in the capital of Egypt and the city-state of Cairo Governorate, Cairo.

The first-leg encounter ended in a 0-0 draw in Tunis, Tunisia where coach Marcel Koller’s side looked to grab a first-leg advantage on the road.

The Egyptian giants’ ambitions of retaining the Champions League crown and winning it a record-extending 12th time are very much alive.

Meanwhile, Esperance were unable to make use of their home-ground advantage and coach Miguel Cardoso’s side will have to claim a win away from home.

The Tunisia giants remain hopeful of winning the Champions League title for the fifth time having won it in 1994, 2011, 2018, and 2019.

In Head-to-Head record since 2007, the two teams have met 21 times across all competitions.

Al Ahly have the upper hand in this rivalry having won 12 games compared to Esperance’s four while five matches ended in a draw.
