Zimbabwe will tussle it out with Lesotho in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match on Friday, 7 June.


Kick-off is at 15h00 CAT.


The Group C encounter will take place at Zimbabwe’s temporary home ground, Orlando Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa.


The Warriors of Zimbabwe were last in action on 26 March as they succumbed to a 3-1 loss to Kenya in an international friendly match.


The Warriors have accumulated two points from their first two matches in Group C as they drew with both Rwanda and Nigeria.


The Southern African side are currently fifth on Group C standings – two points behind leaders, Rwanda.


Walter Musona – who scored a stunning free-kick against Nigeria – will be looking to inspire his nation to a win over Lesotho.


Meanwhile, the last time Lesotho were in action was in an international friendly match against fellow Southern African side Namibia as the two sides drew 1-1 on 1 June.


Likuena of Lesotho have two points from their first two matches in Group C which sees them placed fourth in the standings with eight matches left.



Sera Motebang  – who has scored 12 goals in 59 matches for Lesotho – will carry the Likuena’s hopes of securing a win over Zimbabwe.











In Head-to-Head stats, this will be the 25th meeting between Zimbabwe and Lesotho.



Zimbabwe have the upper hand having won 17 matches compared to Lesotho’s two wins while five games ended in a draw.
