According to latest developments at Old Trafford, it’s been reported that Manchester United could opt to sign Sofyan Amrabat on a permanent basis ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Amrabat joined United on-loan from Fiorentina ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, following his fine showings at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The energetic midfielder found the going tough during his first couple of months in England, while it was believed that Erik Ten Hag remained unconvinced of his performances throughout the season. However, football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio recently reported that United could hold onto the midfielder after a positive end to the 23/24 campaign.

“Not a particularly positive year for the Moroccan midfielder, who had done so well at the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, attracting the interest of several clubs,” Di Marzio said, as per the People’s Person.

“One club in particular has shown interest in Amrabat is Galatasaray, who could jump for Amrabat.

“However, it is also not excluded that the midfielder might remain at Manchester United for next season. The situation remains a work in progress, and developments are expected soon.”
