Kudus scoops two accolades at Ghanaian Football Awards

West Ham star Mohammed Kudus scooped two accolades at the 2024 Ghana Football Awards held on Saturday.


The attacking midfielder was outstanding in the English Premier League and UEFA Europa League with West Ham during the 2023/24 season – scoring 13 goals in 41 matches.


Kudus beat Abdul Fatawu Issahaku (Leicester City), Osman Bukari (Crvena zvezda), and Inaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao) to the Footballer of the Year award.


The 23-year-old also won the Goal of the Year award – for his amazing strike against Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League.


Meanwhile, the Women’s Footballer of the Year accolade was scooped by Jennifer Kankam Yeboah of ZED FC in Egypt.
