Following Monday’s action in the 2024 Cosafa Cup, Angola took charge of Group C following a thrilling 3-2 victory over Seychelles, while Zimbabwe look to qualify for the tournament’s semi-finals when they face Kenya at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.


In what was a tight affair in the Eastern Cape on Monday, Angola moved to the top of Group C on goal difference following their win over Seychelles.


Depu gave the Black Sable antelopes the lead in the 9th minute of the encounter, while their lead was diminished thanks to goals by Johan Gamatice and Brandon Labrosse in the 26th and 46th minute respectively.


Depu then levelled matters moments before the hour mark, while Maestro’s 78th minute effort separated the two sides on the day.


Elsehwere, Zimbabwe could book their spot in the semi-finals of the Cosafa Cup with a victory over Kenya at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. (Kick-off is at 12pm CAT)


The Warriors boast a 100% win record in the tournament so far, following their victories against Comoros and Zambia last month.
