Dynamos chairman Bernard Marriot-Lusengo insists the “past is buried” after the club’s players returned to training on Wednesday following a week-long strike.

DeMbare’s playing staff decided to boycott training last week over outstanding winning bonuses and signing-on fees owed to them by the Harare giants.

However, Marriot-Lusengo has confirmed that the player strike has now ended after negotiations took place with them to fulfill Sunday’s Premier Soccer League clash with Highlanders.

“The past is buried, the boys are back at training and it’s full throttle,” Marriot-Lusengo declared.

“The battle ahead of us on Sunday requires character and we are all united. We need to win this one for the fans.”

Dynamos are well off the pace in the title race after winning just five of their opening 17 matches and trail league leaders FC Platinum by 11 points in sixth place.
