Tunisian international Hannibal Mejbri has returned to Manchester United ahead of the 2024/25 campaign and was recently announced in the Red Devil’s team for their initial pre-season opener.

In search of regular football, Mejbri spent half of the 2023/24 season on-loan with Sevilla but found the going tough in new surroundings.

According to reports in the media last season, United were left frustrated at Mejbri’s lack of game time with Sevilla after making just six LaLiga appearances since January 2024.

Now though, Mejbri was spotted at Carrington in the last couple of days as United prepared to take on Rosenborg in their first pre-season fixture ahead of the new Premier League season.

The African midfielder was also named in Erik Ten Hag’s squad that will face the Norwegian side at the Lerkendal Stadium on Monday evening.
