Partey set to ditch Saudi Pro League transfer?

According to a new report in European football media, the Saudi Public Investment Fund are yet to commence talks with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.

The Ghanaian star has been linked with a move away from the Emirates in the last couple of months, with it said that a number of Saudi Pro League club’s have been keeping tabs on his current situation.

However, according to CBS Sports journalist James Benge, Partey is planning on seeing out his final year of his contract with the London-based giants.

“From what I understand about Thomas Partey’s situation, he intends to stay for the final year of his contract,” Benge said, as per Daily Cannon.

“Everyone talks about Saudi Arabia – there’s been no conversations with PIF so far and no offers from any other Saudi clubs.”
