Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has expressed that he will put a ‘difficult’ 2023/24 season behind him in the coming months.
With the Red Devils currently in the middle of their 2024/25 pre-season preparations, the Cameroonian star is hoping to go one better in the new campaign.
After enduring a jittering start to life in Manchester, Onana impressed the United fanbase toward the end of last season, where he played a starring role in the club earning the 2024 FA Cup title. Now though, Onana has promised the Red Devils supporters that ‘nice things’ are coming.
“It’s very exciting, not only for the coming games in pre-season but for the rest of this season,” Onana told United’s official website.
“It’s going to be difficult but we are well prepared, we are preparing well this season and it’s going to be really nice.
“We are going to fight for everything this year, last season we already know what happened and of course we ended very good but it was a difficult season for all of us. So this year, nice things are coming.”
