Angola international M’Bala Nzola has completed his transfer to French Ligue 1 outfit RC Lens.
The 27-year-old forward has joined the Blood and Gold on a season-long loan deal from Italian Serie A side ACF Fiorentina.
Being born in Angola, but raised in France, Nzola was eligible for either country at international level, but he decided to play for the Palancas Negras.
The deal reportedly has a €8 million buy option clause and the Buco-Zau-born player will be hoping to impress during his time with Lens.
“A goalscorer with fire in his legs! A fast center-forward and efficient finisher, M’Bala Nzola joins Artois,” a Lens statement read.
“The Angolan international (6 caps) joins Racing for the 2024/25 campaign from Fiorentina (Italy), on a loan with an option to buy.”
He has netted twice for Angola against Egypt and Central African Republic.
