With Manchester United set to complete the signing Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain, it has now been reported that the Red Devils have agreed a deal to sign 2006 born Mali midfielder Sékou Koné.
Under the guidance of INEOS, United have been one of the busiest clubs in the current transfer window as they undergo their new sporting project with Sir Jim Ratcliffe at the helm.
While Ugarte remains a priority signing in midfield for the current campaign, Football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano recently reported that Koné will be part of the club’s ‘long-term’ plans.
“Man United agree deal to sign 2006 born Mali international talent Sékou Koné from Guidars FC, here we go!,” Romano reported on X.
“Koné was on the list of several clubs but United have agreed deal today.
“Considered top talent, he’s part of long term plans similar to Chido Obi Martin.”
