Paynesville and Jaraaf cruise into second round

Administration Police booked a date with defending champions Zamalek in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary second round, while ASC Kara will face ASEC Mimosas.

Paynesville found the going much tougher at the Stade Omnisport Ahmadou Ahidjo as they ran out narrow 1-0 victors over Fovu Club to march on 5-0 on aggregate, having triumphed 4-0 in the first leg against just eight players.

Orapa United cleared the first hurdle thanks to a 2-0 win against Foresters at the Francistown Stadium which saw them go through 3-1 on aggregate and Lunda Sul advanced on away goals after playing out to a 0-0 draw with Elgeco Plus at the Estadio 11 de Novembro.

ASC Kara ensured their place in the next round with a 2-0 victory against AS FAN at the Stade General Seyni Kountche following a 2-2 draw in the first leg, while ASC Jaraaf made short work of East End Lions at the Stade Lat Dior, winning 3-0 to progress 4-0 on aggregate.
