Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has given a crucial update on his immediate future following the Red’s 3-0 demolition of Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

The Merseyside club put on a dominant display at Old Trafford this week as goals by Luis Diaz and the Egyptian forward were enough for Arne Slot and his troops to bag maximum points on enemy ground.

While the result became a major topic of conversation online, Salah’s comments regarding his immediate future likewise did the same.

“I was coming to the game, I was saying, ‘look, it could be the last time’,” Salah told SkySports, as per BBC.com.

“Nobody in the club talked to me yet about contracts so I was just like, ‘OK, I play my last season and see at the end of the season’.

“I feel I am free to play football – we will see what happens next year.”
