Otto Addo will look to get Ghana’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign up and running against Niger at the Berkane Municipal Stadium in Morocco on Monday, September 9.

Kick-off is at 5pm CAT (SA, GMT+2)

The Black Stars bring up the rear in Group F after suffering an agonising 1-0 defeat to Angola in Kumasi on matchday 1, with Milson scoring in the third minute of stoppage time.

Otto had only been appointed to the helm in May on a permanent basis and kicked off his tenure with back-to-back wins over Mali (2-1) and Central African Republic (4-3) in June’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The former Ghana international, who guided his country to the 2022 World Cup during his first spell, will be targeting all three points in Berkane to put pressure on the Black Sable Antelopes and Sudan.

Niger have only ever qualified for the continental showpiece on two occasions, in 2012 and 2013, although they failed to make it out of their group both times.

The Menas were undone by Abo Eisa’s 51st-minute goal in Juba on September 4 as Sudan ran out narrow 1-0 victors in their opening match of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
