Former Nigeria international Victor Moses has joined English Championship outfit Luton Town on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old has most recently been playing his football in Russia with Spartak Moscow, who he joined in 2021 after a successful loan spell from Chelsea in the 2020/21 campaign.
Moses, who is a right-back-come-winger, turned out for several English clubs including Chelsea FC West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Stoke City and Liverpool FC.
“We are excited to announce the signing of free agent Victor Moses on a permanent contract, subject to international clearance,” a Luton statement read.
Born in Kaduna, Nigeria, Moses represented England youth teams, but opted to play for Nigeria as opposed to being fully capped for the Three Lions.
Moses made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2012 and earned 38 caps and scored 12 times before retiring from international matches in 2018.
He played in Nigeria’s winning campaign at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, as well as the campaign in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
