The preliminary second round of the CAF Confederation Cup is when the big hitters start making an appearance, with defending champions Zamalek and 2023-24 losing finalists RS Berkane amongst the teams looking to progress to the group stages.

Zamalek, who won their second title last season, kick off their 2024-25 challenge against Administration Police in the first leg at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday.

Sekhukhune United, who made their debut in the competition last term, will be hoping to qualifying for the group stages once more when they meet Lunda Sul at the Estadio 11 de Novembro on Saturday.

Debutants Stellenbosch will be keen to prolong their continental journey when they lock horns with AS Vita Club at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday.
