ES Tunis and Young Africans were the big winners in this weekend’s list of CAF Champions League action, while champions Al Ahly cruised to victory in Cairo.
The 12-time CAF Champions League winners bagged a 3-0 win against Gor Mahia in their second-leg, second preliminary round tie at the Cairo International Stadium on Saturday.
Goals by Ramy Rabia, Wessam Ali and Taher Mohamed saw the Egyptians record a 6-0 aggregate win over two dominant legs.
Elsewhere, Young Africans swept CBE SA aside to a 6-0 victory at the Amani Stadium on Saturday and marched on with a 7-0 aggregate score overall.
Then, ES Tunis were the biggest winners in this past weekend’s list of second leg second preliminary round ties following a dominant 8-0 win against Dekedaha at Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi on Saturday.
The Tunisian side look a comfortable 4-1 lead into their home fixture, with the aggregate score ending at 12-1 in Mkashkha’s favour.
