Salah goes level with Aguero in Most EPL goal involvements list

Egypt captain Mohamed Salah is now level with Argentine legend Sergio Aguero after scoring Liverpool FC’s win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 32-year-old winger netted from the penalty spot as the Reds claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Wolves in an English Premier League match played at the Molineux Stadium

French defender Ibrahima Konate opened the scoring to hand Liverpool the lead before Algerian left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri levelled matters for Wolves, but Salah snatched the decisive goal.

Salah has been involved in 231 EPL goals as a Liverpool player having hit the back of the net 159 times and provided 72 assists since joining the Reds in 2017.

Therefore, according to Opta Joe, the three-time EPL Golden Boot winner is now level with former Manchester City striker Aguero in terms of the most goal involvements for a club in the EPL.
