The 2025 AFCON will be the 35th edition of the biennial continental tournament organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and will be held in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
Qualifying for the tournament will take place in three ‘blocks’ in September (Matchday 1 & 2), October (Matchday 3 & 4) and November (Matchday 5 & 6) of 2024. The top two teams in each qualifying group will advance to the AFCON tournament.
Matchday 3 and 4 fixtures are taking place from Thursday 10 October to Tuesday 15 October 2024.

18h11: Zimbabwe v Namibia – 10 minutes have passed at the Orlando Stadium, and both teams seem to be evenly balanced in terms of possession and keeping the ball. The nations are biding their time to deliver an attacking move that could potential lead to the scoring being opened early in the match.
