Chad will be hoping to grab their first victory in their qualifying campaign for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations when they host Zambia at Stade Omnisport Ahmadou on Tuesday afternoon.

Kick-off is at 15:00 CAT (SA, GMT+2)

As it stands, Chad are placed third in Group G with two points from the same amount of draws, having played three matches. A win for them could move them up to second in the standings.

The two sides met on Friday, producing a goalless draw. The performance from Les Sao was an impressive one as they avoided conceding to Chipolopolo despite facing 14 shots on goal from their opponents.

Chad has never qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations or the World Cup in their history. They have also not won any of their last five matches across all competitions.

Their last victory was a 2-1 result over Mauritius in March in an AFCON qualifying preliminary round game.

Meanwhile, Zambia will be looking to find their edge in this rematch and take their chances. The goalless draw was a disappointing result because the team had most of the possession.

A win for Chipolopolo in the second leg tomorrow could see them possibly full five points clear of the pack, before heading to the final games which will be played next month.
