Arsenal eye Cameroon star

According to a new report in English football media, Arsenal are ‘plotting’ to sign Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo in a bid to beef up their right-wing department.

According to recruitment expert Mick Brown, Arsenal want to sign a right-winger in the upcoming transfer window, as per Football Insider.

Mbeumo has been one of Brentford’s best players during the last couple of seasons and currently has six goals in eight Premier League games during the 2024/25 campaign.

As it stands, Mbeumo is second to Erling Haaland on the Premier League’s top goal scorers list, while his versatility is said to have been appreciated by the Gunners.

According to Football Insider, Arsenal are looking to sign the African star following an injury to Bukayo Saka, with Liverpool said to have been keen on the player as well.
