The 2025 AFCON will be the 35th edition of the biennial continental tournament organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and will be held in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
Qualifying for the tournament will take place in three ‘blocks’ in September (Matchday 1 & 2), October (Matchday 3 & 4) and November (Matchday 5 & 6) of 2024. The top two teams in each qualifying group will advance to the AFCON tournament.
Matchday 5 and 6 fixtures are taking place from Wednesday 13 November to Tuesday 19 November 2024.

22h56 – FULL-TIME – Morocco 7-0 Lesotho – The Atlas Lions walked away with a 7-0 win over Lesotho at the Honneur Stadium, finishing off their qualifying campaign for the next AFCON to be hosted on home soil with six wins in a row, and an emphatic 18 point tally in Group B.
22h53: Full-time – Comoros 1 (Bourhane 47′) Madagascar 0
Comoros finish the qualifying campaign unbeaten and they end up top of Group A after Tunisia lost 1-0 to Gambia in a concurrent match.
22h32 – GOAL! Morocco 7-0 Lesotho – Ismael Saibari gets his name on the scoresheet as well for the Atlas Lions and Likuena beginning to look hopeless as the hosts enjoy their last qualifier.
