The action continues in the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday with the final round of fixtures in Matchday 2 concluding in Morocco.
Gambia will be locking horns with Somalia at Stade El Abdi in Group C, with both teams gunning for their first points having lost their openers.
The Baby Scorpions lost their first match against the defending champions Senegal 1-0, in their fifth appearance at the tournament.
Also in Group C, Tunisia and Senegal will go head-to-head for first position in the group. Carthage Eaglets coach Mohamed Amine Naffati is not underestimating their opponents.
“It’s normal, Senegal is a great African nation, just like Tunisia. We’ll start the match at 50-50. It’s a football match, and I hope we’ll have all three points at the end of the match,” Naffati said.
Angola will also be in action as they face-off against a high-flying Ivory Coast, who defeated Central African Republic 6-1 in their first match in Group D.
“This match [against Central African Republic] has given us confidence, and we were able to convert our opportunities, scoring six goals. I hope we continue in this vein,” said Ivorian goalkeeper Cissé Abdoulaye after the victory.
The late kick-off sees Central African Republic and Mali clash at the Berrechid Municipal stadium.
