Defending champions Senegal, were eliminated from the 2025 CAF Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco on Saturday.


The Young Lions of Teranga drew 0-0 with Ivory Coast in a quarter-final clash at the Berrechid Municipal Stadium in Berrechid.


The Young Elephants emerged as 5-3 winners over the reigning African champions after converting all of their five spot-kicks.


Meanwhile, Mali also booked their place in the semi-finals following their 1-1 draw with Tunisia in another quarter-final clash.


The Young Eagles claimed a 10-9 win over the Young Carthage Eagles on penalties at the Ben M’Hamed El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida.


The action will continue on 15 April, when Mali face Burkina Faso in the first semi-final match at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca. Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.


The second semi-final match will feature host Morocco and Ivory Coast at the El Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia. Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.
