In what was one of the most talked about bouts in the U20 Africa Cup of Nations this weekend, Zambia and Egypt played to a 0-0 draw at the Suez Canal Stadium on Saturday.

The Young Pharaohs went into the game as favourites, Zambia neutralized the North African powerhouse by astute defending on enemy territory.

Egypt thus missed the opportunity to make notable ground in Group A as log leaders Sierra Leone bagged their second victory in succession at the showpiece.

The Group A pace setters secured a 1-0 win against Tanzania on Saturday, as Samuel Gandi’s 37th minute strike separated the two sides at the Suez Canal Stadium.

As it stands, Sierra Leone accumulated seven points after three matches played and are three points ahead of second-placed Egypt.
