Wydad Athletic Club have announced the signing of three players ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The Moroccan football heavyweights are one of the four African teams that will represent Africa in the global tournament, which is scheduled to be played in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025.

The Red Castle have snapped up Noureddine Amrabat, who recently parted ways with English Championship club Hull City and he was part of Morocco’s 2018 FIFA World Cup squad.

Morocco international Hamza Hanouri and Aziz Ki of Burkina Faso have also joined Wydad from Botola Pro side FUS Rabat, and Tanzanian champions Young Africans, respectively.

“The Wydad Athletic Club management announces the official signing of the players: Noureddine Amrabat, Hamza Hanouri, and Aziz Ki, wishing them and their teammates the best of luck with the team,” the club stated.

Wydad are in Group G at the Club World Cup, matched against English giants Manchester City, UAE’s Al Ain, and Italian football powerhouse Juventus.
