Madrid close in on Moroccan youngster

Real Madrid are close to sealing the signing of Moroccan youngster Abdellah Ouazane from Ajax, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The midfielder currently plays for Ajax’s U17 side, but has reportedly expressed his desire to leave the club in favour of Madrid. He is expected to leave on a free transfer and officially to be announced next month.
“16-year-old talent, expected to sign in July and become part of the Castilla squad for Real’s academy,” wrote Romano on X.
Ouazane represented Morocco at the U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in March and April where he was named Player of the Tournament as he helped guide his side to its maiden title.
