Mamelodi Sundowns will face Fluminense at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Wednesday in their final group game at the FIFA Club World Cup, with a spot in the round of 16 on the line.

Kick-off is at 9pm CAT.

Masandawana won their opening fixture of the tournament against Ulsan HD 1-0 thanks to a man-of-the-match performance from striker Iqraam Rayners. Their second fixture proved a tougher task, with the South African champions falling 4-3 to Dortmund.

Rayners has enjoyed his time at the tournament, netting in each of Sundowns games so far. He will be looking to add a third to his tally in Masandawana’s bid to achieve glory on the world stage.

Fluminense are yet to be defeated at the Club World Cup, having drawn their first game against Dortmund before defeating Ulsan 4-2.

With Dortmund and Fluminense both on four points, Sundowns will need a win against the Brazilian side to advance to the round of 16, unless Dortmund lose to bottom-of-the-group Ulsan by a margin of two goals. In this case, a draw would be enough for Masandawana to reach the knockout stage of the competition.

For Fluminense, who are atop group F and above Dortmund on goal difference, a draw would be enough to ensure their place in the last 16. Should both Fluminense and Dortmund lose, the Brazilian side will move through.
