Red Devils intensify chase for Cameroon star

In what has been one of the biggest talking points in the current transfer window, Manchester United remain in the race for Brentford and Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo.

The Red Devils are said to be desperate to improve their attacking department ahead of the new campaign, with Mbeumo listed as a marquee target for the next couple of weeks.

While it was reported that Brentford rejected initial bids for the powerful forward, the Daily Mail recently revealed that United could conclude the transfer this week.

“Manchester United are continuing to discuss a restructured bid for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo with optimism they can reach agreement by the end of the week over a deal worth around £65m,” the Mail reported, as per TeamTalk.

United have also been linked with Ghanaian attacker Mohammed Kudus during the last couple of weeks, while the versatile star caught the eye of Thomas Frank’s Spurs outfit.
