All eyes will be on the North African sides Al-Hilal Omdurman, Wydad AC and Zamalek on Friday as they look to advance to the group stage of the CAF Inter-Club.
Sudan giants Al-Hilal are carrying a 1-0 aggregate lead into their Champions League match against Kenyan side Police at their temporary home ground, Benina Martyrs Stadium, in Benghazi, Libya.
In Ndola, Zambia, Power Dynamos will progress to the next round if they avoid a defeat against Vipers of Uganda, as the Zambian outfit secured a 2-1 victory in the first-leg clash in Entebbe.
Four Confederation Cup matches will be played on Friday and they are headlined by a tie between Ghana heavyweights Asante Kotoko and Moroccan football powerhouse Wydad.
Wydad, who will be home at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca, are the favourites to advance after emerging as 1-0 winners over Kokoto in the first-leg encounter in Ghana.
In Egypt, Zamalek have already put one foot in the next round after hammering Somalian side Dekedda 6-0 in the first-leg match and the Egyptian giants will be at home at the Cairo International Stadium.
While Azam of Tanzania and Algerian outfit CR Belouizdad are also expected to progress to the group stage when they host Zanzibar’s KMKM and Hafia of Guinea, respectively, as they enjoy home ground advantage.
