Former Bafana Bafana defender Siyanda Xulu has been linked with a move to Armenian Premier League club FC Noah.

This is according to iDiski Times.

The 33-year-old has reportedly been offered a deal by the Armenian club, who are competing in the UEFA Europa League this season.

Xulu last played for SuperSport United, now Siwelele FC, parting ways with the club after the 2023/24 season. He has been without a club since after a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Wehda and a potential move to Romania both fell through.

The defender rose from the youth team at Mamelodi Sundowns, earning a spot in the first team in the 2009/10 season.

He left Sundowns for FC Rostov in Russia in the 2012/13 season, returning to South Africa three seasons later and joining Kaizer Chiefs.

Since the 2017/18 season, Xulu has featured for Maritzburg United, Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel, Turan Tovuz in Azerbaijan and SuperSport United.

Xulu was a member of Bafana Bafana’s bronze winning Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) team in 2024, featuring in three games including the semi-final and third-place playoff.

He has notched 31 caps for the national team and last played for South Africa in an international friendly against Algeria in March 2024.
