After all eight games produced a result on matchday 1, the pressure will be on the losers to put their first points on the board in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages.


The in the first of three games taking place on Friday, Al Masry will be looking to retain top spot in Group A when they face ZESCO United at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.


The Green Eagles got off to a fine start when they beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 on November 23, with Team Ya Ziko falling to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Zamalek.


Wydad Casablanca can expect a sterner test from Azam when they lock horns at the Amaan Stadium in the early evening.


The Red Castle made short work of Nairobi United on November 23 as they ran out 3-0 victors in Casablanca. but they’ll be travelling to Zanzibar City this time around, where the Bakers will be hoping to bounce back after suffering a disappointing 2-0 reverse against Maniema Union.


In the late kick-off, USM Alger will be targeting an improvement when they square up to Olympic Safi at the El Massira Stadium.


USMA came out on top in a five-goal thriller (3-2) against San Pedro on November 23, while the Sharks made a promising start to their debut in the competition with a 1-0 success against veterans Djoliba.


Saturday bring two matches in the afternoon as Kaizer Chiefs host Zamalek at the FNB Stadium and AS Otoho welcome CR Belouizdad to the Stade Alphonse Massemba-Debat.


The Glamour Boys couldn’t have hoped for a tougher opponent as they attempt to get their Group C campaign up and running after losing on matchday 1.


The Reds cruised to a 2-0 win against Singida Black Stars on November 22 and AS Otoho were unfortunate not to come away from South Africa with at least a point after they conceded a last-gasp goal to be beaten 1-0 by Stellenbosch.


The action concludes with three matches on Sunday, the first of which sees Nairobi United and Maniema Union go head-to-head at the Nyayo National Stadium.


Then, a couple of hours later, San Pedro and Djoliba lock horns at the Laurent Pokou Stadium before Stellenbosch make the journey to Zanzibar City for a clash with Singida Black Stars the Amaan Stadium.
