After years of seeing relatively little playing time with Orlando Pirates, Patrick Phungwayo moved to Free State Stars early in the 2017/18 season. The 29-year-old defender is likely to be a regular for Ea Lla Koto, who will benefit from being able to call on the former Bafana Bafana player’s experience and class. Phungwayo has also represented Bidvest Wits and Greece’s Panionios in his career.
