Angola will be appearing at their first African Nations Championship finals, one of three sides from the Southern African region.
The side is led by Lito, who in January was appointed head coach of the Palancas Negras, taking over from caretaker coach Zeca Amaral.
The country has been preparing for CHAN in Brazil for a month, and will be well-drilled by the time they reach Sudan.
They have been drawn in Group D along with Senegal, Rwanda and Tunisia, a tough set of teams and what looks to be an open pool.
