Entente Sportive de Sétif are one of Algeria's most successful teams having won the the Algerian Ligue 1 title on seven previous occasions.

In Africa, Sétif are one of only three Algerian teams to have won the Caf Champions League.

Founded in 1958, Les Aigles Noirs won their first of two Caf Champions League crowns in 1988 - beating Nigerian outfit Iwuanyanwu Nationale (now Heartland FC) 4-1 in the final.

Having lost in the 2009 Caf Confederations Cup final, Sétif claimed their second continental title in 2014 - beating AS Vita 3-3 on aggregate to lift the coveted Caf Champions League title once again.

Sétif, who play their home games at Stade 8 Mai 1945, are the only Algerian team to have won the Caf Super Cup - beating Al Ahly in last year's showpiece.
